Spring Home Updates

If you’re looking for some spring home updates, you’ve come to the right place.

The transition from winter to spring is one of my favorites because it’s easy but makes such a big difference. From using more natural lighting to incorporating florals throughout the house, there are all sorts of things to switch up for this new season. Continue reading for the spring home updates I think everyone should try!

Plants

Move on from flowers like Winter Jasmine and Camellias to spring favorites like Tulips and Pansies. While I love to have fresh blooms in the house at all times, there’s certain things I’ll make exceptions for… especially when it comes to greenery. If you’re anything like me and don’t feel like taking care of an indoor tree, I recommend getting your hands on our Faux Olive Tree. It’s super lifelike and will make any room look more elevated.

Vases

Vases are another easy product to switch out in the spring. Instead of dark, textured vases, I think spring calls for lighter, more natural pieces! I love styling our Beachcomber Wrapped Vase and Novato Crock With Handles during the spring season. Place in some fresh blooms, twigs, or your favorite greenery to get a sophisticated, effortless effect.

Pillows

I also love changing out the pillows in the spring. Winter colors are typically Christmas-y and feature darker hues. Spring calls for light colors with delicate floral patterns! Whether you opt for something like our Jolin Pillow to keep things simple or want to add a pop of color and texture with our Azah Pillow Set, you honestly can’t go wrong.

Throws

An additional item around the house that’s a must to update in the spring are throws! From light blankets that lay on the back of a chair to decorative throws to put at the foot of the bed, I love all of the fun options to choose from. I’m a big fan of our Venice Oversized Throw in Ocean to add a subtle pop of color, as well as our Paloma Throw in Cream, for a lighter look.

Doormat

Now that we’re out of the major holidays, now is the perfect time to swap out seasonal decor for everyday products. This is especially true when it comes to doormats! Instead of a holiday-themed one from the winter, switch it out for something fresh and new.

Rugs

Rugs aren’t typically the most accessible item in the house to switch out. If you’re into an authentic vintage piece, our Chaparral Rug will get the job done perfectly. However, another option that’s a lovely touch of color but still neutral enough to stick around for a few seasons to come is our Benny Rug. It is made from Jute and features natural hues. It would look fantastic in the living room or even the bedroom!

Glassware

If you want to change your tablescape for the spring, I think an easy starting point is your glassware. My favorite spring glassware from our shop has to be from our Cynthia Collection. Featuring cane-wrapped glasses, there are all sorts of things to choose from. Whether you’re looking for a carafe, pitcher, highball set, or tumbler set, we have you covered!

Bedding

The weather changing is something most of us are probably looking forward to, especially from the winter to the spring! That calls for lighter bedding. During the winter, we stick to heavier down comforters, but with spring, you can change it out. Our Spring Weight Duvet Insert can perfectly pair with our Blake Duvet in Cream.
