Here at Lindye Galloway Studio + Shop, we recognize that we have the ability to make an impact! We do this by creating beautiful spaces for our clients and providing one-of-kind pieces that are available on our shop nationwide.
Through these efforts, we are also able to impact by giving back! Continue reading to learn more about our Create Beauty, Give Beauty Initiative and how we’ve been able to help over 1,400 individuals!
Why We Started the Shop
The reason we started the shop actually stemmed from our desire to give back. This is why a portion of all of our proceeds go to our nonprofit partner who gives micro-loans to innovative entrepreneurs all over the world. We love the idea that by making your home more beautiful, you get to help others achieve their dreams. How cool is that?
Not only does each recipient receive a loan, but our non-profit partner also provides them with community-based mentors and business coaching. They even provide financial tools like savings accounts! We think it’s so important to help not only financially, but in other ways too!
All About Savera
One of the people we’ve helped through our non-profit is a woman from Rwanda named Savera. Like myself, she is a female entrepreneur with a dream who has worked tirelessly to get to where she is. Through the micro-loan Savera received, she was able to expand her business exponentially! She now employs over 50 people in her community. Even though we weren’t granted the same resources, both of us have been able to find success.
Our Impact
I simply love hearing when the actions we put forward into the world reward others. There is truly no better feeling! When shopping on our shop, not only are you creating beauty in your life but you’re also giving beauty to someone in the world who would benefit greatly from it.
