I can’t bring myself to believe that it will be 2020 this time next week. Another year has come and gone here at LGI and, in my opinion, it flew by! My team and I accomplished so much this year: we hit new milestones, grew our team, worked on SO many amazing projects, and definitely had a few pinch-me moments along the way!
This time of year, I always like to take a moment to look back and reflect on the biggest moments of the last 365 days. After all, if you don’t carve out time to reflect, life’s most amazing moments simply pass by way too quickly. So today, I’ve recapped our 2019 year in review for you below. We moved!
We moved into a beautiful new studio in March! All of you who follow me on Instagram probably remember seeing the behind-the-scenes moments that went into building and designing our studio. We took on exciting new projects!
This year we really focused on fine-tuning so many details for new projects we have in the pipeline. 2019 was a big year for us in terms of getting the ball rolling on a lot of new projects, which means that 2020 will bring several new project reveals that I can’t wait to share with you all!
We landed a magazine cover!
My biggest pinch-me moment this year was without a doubt when Lindye Galloway Interiors made the cover of Modern Luxury Magazine with our Seacliff project! Aside from landing this dream cover, we also saw a bunch of fun new features in online and print publications including Newport Beach Magazine, Design OC, Blue Door Magazine, Style Me Pretty Living, Inspired By This, Rue Mag, HGTV, Sunset Magazine and more.
We grew our team!
Not only have we been growing our number of projects and growing out of our office… We also grew our team this year. In 2019, we added four new positions and I have an amazing team of nine design-savvy pros working with me. I am so grateful for each and every one of our talented team members. LGI is also a women-run, women-lead business which is something that makes me really proud.
We started filming video!
If you follow us on Instagram, then you’ve definitely noticed this 2019 milestone! We started filming webisodes this year to give followers and viewers a behind-the-scenes look into our world. We’ve been dropping 2 videos per week and I’ve had a ton of fun with it! Having a video element to go along with the work we share with you has felt so natural. Going into 2020…
From project reveals to more video content to some big-picture LGI projects, we have so many exciting things in store for you this coming year. 2020 will bring even more behind the scenes peeks and never-before-seen footage of high-end projects, so keep your eyes peeled to catch all the new styles and trends we are bringing to the design world!
We are thrilled to be heading into a New Year with an awesome roster of new clients, exciting projects underway, and a great group of team members to work alongside while we do all the things!
